Majority of the youth are educated and unemployed. Rapid change is needed in our country to stabilize the economy.

I know you're trolling, but please.. the majority of our youth are not educated... even the average middle class family who can't send their kid to a decent ex-Model C school have kids whose education is lacking big time.

I like the concept of fighting for economic freedom but I don’t agree with their proposed methods.
Expropriation of land without compensation - thumbs down.
Nationalisation of mines, banks, and strategic sectors - thumbs down.
Free education, healthcare, houses, and sanitation - thumbs down.
Massive protected industrial development – thumbs up.

There is space for everyone of us to succeed economically without talking a share of other people’s economic success, not matter how ill-gotten it may be. We just need to stare at the ceiling(or look at the clouds) and think about people’s needs and wants, thereafter come up with ways to provide. We would all be economically active if we all did this. One problem is that many people stare at the ceiling and come up with expensive ideas then they blame lack of start-up capital. Another problem is that South Africans like working for other people. This economic freedom movement should create a nationwide network of young entrepreneurs who will all promise to buy within the network: young supporting young. Maybe a bank will form from that by also tapping into stokvels. It might because a pyramid but it might also become a large conglomerate of young entrepreneurs, or something like that. I think that I have reached the end of my thinking capacity, etc… etc… etc…

NB. I might have to rethink what I have posted. Sharp.

I dont think this is a bad thing.He will take support away from the ANC an dhopefully say a few things that will embarrass them.Can never be a bad thing.Maybe DA with a coalition could get a few more than they thought they would

education and healthcare should be free to disadvantage people who are willing to study and improve the economy. As for the houses and sanintation - people must be assisted but not given free.

Why must education (on a basic level) be free to the disadvantaged, but not everyone? Why would you discriminate against people?

See, I'm not saying all education must be free.

If I chose to send my child to a semi-private school.. or whatever, I have to pay.. but if schooling is free for a section of the population, then that same level of schooling must be free for all.

You know if course if you you stop voting anc , then someone else with a better attitude towards the economy can take over. But yet.. you keep on voting for ANC. They fck up, but it's okay. They liberated the country 20 years ago.. so we'll forgive and forget... that is why we sit in a crap economy. Look at e-tolls. 50% of the money goes overseas.. let alone the financial impact on the people..

But of course, you want to easy way out. Take take take attitude (Malema's attitude) is fine as long as you score right?

Yah, agreed. The reality as it is now, though, is that it's a lot harder for disadvantage groups to afford basic school fees that high income groups have no issue paying. I have no problem with having society help out that section of society.

I mean for those that cant afford basic school fees and willing to study hard.
It is the same as donating to charities. Education is the key to success and only way to eradicate poverty.

How do you determine that someone is willing to study hard so that you can give them free schooling?
