Man dies in Shark Attack

I see you're in dbn
When last did Dbn have a fatal shark attack ?

It really doesn't matter where you live on the coast, the johnnys are there, its their turf.
DBN, only section of our whole coastline that has netted beaches. Very effective but it kills a lot of species, sharks included, daily.
I grew up in the eastern cape surfing Jbay and St-Francis area weekly, lets not even talk the Kei.

A man died when he was attacked by a shark at Jeffreys Bay, in the Eastern Cape, on Friday morning, said the National Sea Rescue Institute (NSRI).

He was thought to have been attacked while snorkelling at 11.30am, said NSRI spokesman Craig Lambinon.

He had not yet been identified.

RIP my friend, God bless :(

It's their territory so I'm not surprised this happens.

I'd rather swim in my bathtub.

There are way more things out there that can kill you than sharks. Shark related deaths are actually pretty low compared to deaths caused by other critters out there.

Still doesn't make me swim in the ocean. Just like I don't stand on ledges - even though there is no realistic chance that I'll jump.

Do you also avoid getting in a vehicle?
