A 74-year-old Hungarian man has been attacked and killed on his smallholding in Zuurbekom, Westonaria, police said on Tuesday.

Two men attacked him with a wooden pick handle outside his house on Monday night, said Constable Mariaan Bam. He died of a head injury.

Yep, we have a crime problem. I wonder how they knew about the safe?

Inside info. Makes me scared to employ people even at my new start-up company :(.

Even the poor telkom guy is under suspicion these days. And he only installed the ASDL. :D

I think instead of taking land to give to people that will not farm they should build prisons on them. People should really rot in prison when they are caught. Not given a free pass or bail.

ANd hard labour. No cushiness or anything cozy. Real hard, backbreaking labour.

People do not rot in prisons these days.

In SA?
Was the latest scandal not, all the money that were suppose to go to prisoners were being used on parties and over seas trips?

Well hard labour is not against human rights.
Our state hospitals will make them try to be heathy
MAke them watch Reruns of Oprha.
Voting I disagree with.
Education is not a bad thing. Ever.
Sports rights. We will have to keep them fit so make them play their own sports.

A pick handle ey.

How do you confuse a laborer? Show him a whole bunch of spades and tell him to take his pick. Looks like they took this joke personally.

Huh uh no Mila, they need to be worked so hard that they barely have energy left to eat when they get back to prison. No sports and such. Sport is a recreational activity and they should be working. I don't mind if they rest on a saturday and sunday but their rights should be extremely limited, that's the whole point behind a prison system.

Where I used to stay, there was a couple in their 80's that were strangled with a stove cord, I mean wtf?

Education is always a good thing, and i personally believe in transformation in a human being. Unfortunatly its very few and far between. But I will always say, give them the chance to atleast try and better themselves.

It will never stop until people accept the facts

I kid, I kid...

In the late 80s early 90s I remember going past a prison and you would see the prisoners working outside growing their own food etc...

Today its a human right that they receive food and no need to work for it.

Actually prisoners do work even today. I see prisoners out doing garden services work and painting in Devon all the time. The prison's garden are of course tended to by prisoners too. Only the low risk guys are allowed out obviously.
