Man struck by roller coaster at Magic Mountain

VALENCIA - A 20-year-old man is in critical condition after he was struck by a roller coaster at Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia.

Park officials say the man lost his hat on a ride Saturday and climbed two security fences to retrieve it. That's when he was struck by the Ninja roller coaster and knocked unconscious.

I do feel bad because the guy is injured, but how dumb to you have to be to go retrieve a hat from a rollercoaster track, while scaling two bloody fences....

He puts everyones lives at risk as well. What if the ride derailed after hitting him?
