Thinking they will stop is just impossible. It will take generations to sort racism IMO, the more our kids mix, the more it will eradicate racism. At least if they keep it private, they can keep their jobs

Was just commenting that outbursts like this can ruin lives. At 60 years old, he has been indoctrinated most of his life to think he is superior, a legacy of our country that will haunt us for generations to come. His life could be ruined as a result of this, which is not fair on his family IMO.

Not condoning racism, just that its a lot more complex than people make it out to be and won't change anytime soon

Finally, someone who actually sees the problem proactively.
 
There are a handful of words which, as far back as the early 1990s, were taboo for whites to use and any white who does use them is asking for trouble.

Last week I went to a liquor outlet in Wynberg where there are about 60 parking bays with two clearly marked as disabled bays. There were not more than about five cars in the yard when a car parked in one disabled bay and the young driver walked into the shop. Had I suggested he move to a normal bay, he likely would have taken my car number (I have plates back & front), driven to the police station a few blocks away and reported me for using a taboo word to him. My word against his would have been worthless so I stayed clear.

I have a feeling that with whites in the cross hairs there are going to be a lot of false accusations of this kind in the next few months.

that's a racist assumption to have made, tbh. I can understand not wanting to get involved (who polices parking spots at an empty mall?) but rationalising it that way is part of the problem.

Nope this is 2016. This rasicm has always been here in every community. It's just getting the spotlight treatment until the next big public outcry happens.
