Um, link please. And I never said there was a higher unemployment rate but I can say there is still massive issues of poverty. The poor are getting poorer dude, everyone that understands our economy knows that.

what has that got to do with a government failing the people who vote them in. That is what I was trying to put across. And capitalism is meant to create wealth.

It has - did you not notice the increase in the non-white middle class? A side effect is that it's a bit harder for the really poor, and the rich do get richer.

As for government failing the people who voted for them - they have a choice, but chose to continue voting for those who have failed to deliver for them.
