Whether he let the country down or not is debatable. But at the very least he knows how to conduct himself in a civil and gentlemanly manner, unlike the current crop of poorly educated buffoons.
Well in all fairness, unemployment is at a all time low. The DA though do they utmost to be seen as living in luxury, they can't be seen as this as then they will be the same as the ANC.
Um, link please. And I never said there was a higher unemployment rate but I can say there is still massive issues of poverty. The poor are getting poorer dude, everyone that understands our economy knows that.
The uptick in the fourth quarter left job losses for the year at 870 000
It's called capitalism. The alternative is communism. Take your pickThe poor are getting poorer dude, everyone that understands our economy knows that.
I challenge you to show me which economies didn't suffer significant losses last year.Did you miss this part:
We lost 870 000 jobs!

If anyone can find pre-2003 figures please link.
Thats not an "all time low" dude, all that says is that SA is no longer loosing jobs as it was during the recession.

Also keep in mind that the black (black in the sense of non-white) middle class has grown substantially.
I challenge you to show me which economies didn't suffer significant losses last year.
It has - did you not notice the increase in the non-white middle class? A side effect is that it's a bit harder for the really poor, and the rich do get richer.what has that got to do with a government failing the people who vote them in. That is what I was trying to put across. And capitalism is meant to create wealth.

http://edition.cnn.com/2010/BUSINESS/01/20/china.GDP.annual/index.htmlChina's economy grew by 8.7 percent in 2009, according to the National Bureau of Statistics.
China's fourth quarter growth alone surged to 10.7 percent on an annualized basis.
China's economy has been picking up pace the first three quarters of the year, growing at 6.2 percent the first quarter and 7.9 percent the second quarter and 9.1 percent in the third quarter.

As for government failing the people who voted for them - they have a choice, but chose to continue voting for those who have failed to deliver for them.
What, only one example?
"Mandela let us down. He agreed to a bad deal for the blacks. Economically we are still on the outside. The economy is very much 'white'.
This is our economy too you stupid ignorant bitch. Black people out number white people 10 to 1. Of course there will be more black poverty. Your name is an albatross around the Mandela name you fat, fugly murdering bitch. This country doesn't need trash like you. Take your index finger, shove it right up your arse, pull it out, now smell it. Thats the smell of Winnie Mandela to this country.
