Yes.

Been a fan since I was 12. haha. Since it's not metal I believe this deserves its own thread. His latest album kicks ass. :)

Thanks for the heads up :).

Still one of my favorite oldschool AMV's:

At least Johnny Depp also got to do something worthwhile for a change...

Heaven Upside down is great. A new age Marilyn Manson.

Also the dude is on a roll:

So after listining for a while now, for me not a single song on there is as good as stuff on previous albums. The new album is ok - Heaven Upisde down is fun & a good track, but I prefer the distortion-heavy wal-of-sound of previous albums...

Depends on your take. A lot of people didn't like the glam rock stuff after antichrist superstar. I dig it all:

Have had The Pale Emperor on quite a bit the last few weeks. Warship My Wreck is just incredible, maybe my favourite MM song ever? I can put this on headphones and just loose my **** for 5 minutes. The way it just build with this upbeat energy is great.

His voice in this album is also great. I really like these two moments in the acoustic version of Mephistopheles (Fated, Faithful, Fatal). Both lines repeat, starting at 3:18

...fated, faithful, fatal - The way his voice kinda breaks on 'fatal'.
...fated, faithful, fatal - The 'yeah' he adds at the end.

Pale emp was pretty decent ( new one is supper cr@p) no flow to any of the songs

Oddly the thing about Heaven Upside Down I felt was off was the religion/god stuff, like it was too sharp, or said in a way that expresses anger. I dunno, can't really put my finger on it. Earlier albums were about god in the abstract, and I enjoyed it like that. From 'Astonishing Panorama'....

Violence for the people
They always eat the hand that bleeds
Violence for the people
Give the kids what they need
Kill your god, Kill your god
Kill your TV

Edit:

This man is like the Madonna of hard rock or whatever genre you want to put him in at any one time since he's done them all.

Constantly re-inventing himself and bringing forth something new and fresh, yet familiar.

Was listening to the latest album on the way to the forum meet today and it's rocking.

Will try.
I completely lost track after mechanical animals.

Fun fact my mom threw away my CDs of him because they were "duiwelse musiek".
Looking at the covers now(actually ridiculous "gogga maak vir baba bang" stuff), I don't blame her.
