Masking your WAN IP

Hi has anyone here succesfully done this
I live in the UK and I want to watch content from nbc.com.
My problem is that NBC only allow IPs from the US.
Do I need to route through a US proxy server or can I hide my IP.
Public proxy servers can be slow and SOCKS proxy servers usally come at a cost
I use ADSL with a dynamic IP
Does anyone have a good solution 4me?
