Mass effect

...is going to cost > R300:eek: here in SA.

I take it you mean on PC. Is that a lot?
I paid R470 second hand for my xbox version so don't expect to much sympathy from me. :p

That's what the usual price is for a PC game nowdays.

Looks like a cool game though!

can't remember what I paid for it , but traded it. found the game to be boring and slow - didnt enjoy it all

Well my friend just borrowed his copy to me as his Xbox has retired :o :p
Looking forward to see if it holds up to the hype :)

R300 is average for a game I payed R450 for UT3 :o

Yeah, but you console fanbois :b didn't spend that much on your watered down PC --> console :b

Seriously though, all PC games have been < R300. Shop n save have all thier games at R289. The only exceptions so far was Crysis. Now ME :(

Klapped Me and busy on my 2nd play through now :D

Bioware did a good job with it (as they have always done so far).
Once you get the nack of the combat system get over the horrid inventory system (they app fixed that for pc though), the game is really good, great story best dialogue tree I have ever seen (well heard) in a game. With lots of re-playability in it

I've like Bioware's other stuff a lot, hope I am not disappointed with this one.

I just got the Grid Demo, haven't installed it yet though, if its good, this month is going to be tough on the wallet :D

It's already being tough... I've spent so much money on games already.
This weekend past I bought:

Joint Task Force (R100)
MS Combat Flight Sim 3 (R100)
Company of Heroes GOTY Edition (for my friend) (R200)
and now Mass Effect for R317 (R350 total)

EISH!
