Hi all, does anyone know any good maxillofacial surgeons who can remove wisdom tooth near Sunninghill?

Sorry, can't help. But your question caused spontaneous images of suppositories to flash through my mind. That was necessary for the 2nd week. :cry: :)

Sorry, had mine done at St. Augustines in Durbs. Was eating biltong the next day without pain killers, the dude shat himself when he called me to find out how I was doing :D Only had minor swelling on the one side, did a brilliant job on the 4 compacted wisdom extraction. Oh, that white stuff they pump into your arm is heaven ;)
 
I would not recommend surgical removal of wisdom teeth, unless the teeth have been impacted to the extent that they do not protrude above the bone-line.

Many dentists and most oral surgeons recommend routine extraction of third molars (wisdom teeth) supposedly to prevent future problems. However, there is risk of injury, especially of nerve injury. Evidence-based practice does not support prophylactic removal of wisdom teeth, even if they are "impacted."

Hey Atom,

Dr. Nilesh Daya is his name & the anaesthetists name is Dr. Singh. They are based at Sunninghill Hospital & of the 4 Surgeons there, he is the only one on Discovery's Surgeon List which means he charges Discovery rates. (the others charge WAY too much).

Thanks for the input all! I just wanna get someone who can do the job right, because all 4 of mine is growing horizontal and the space available for them to remove is a bit tight, so i wanna get someone good. I rather pay the extra than have someone end up messing up any of my nerves :/
How long did it took before you guys can eat again btw? :)
