Mbeki's popularity at its lowest - poll

I'm really not sure hey - if it comes down to a 3rd term for Mbeki (unlikely) or a 1st term for Zuma (likely), I'd choose Mbeki.

People could argue that Mbeki could turn into another Mugabe if he leads for another term, but I think that Zuma has the potential to accomplish in 5 years what Mugabe has accomplished in 26 years.

We seemed to manage when Mandela was (national) President and Mbeki was ANC President...

They had similar views though. Zuma and Mbeki are bitter rivals at this point.

I think Mbeki's pretty moderate and harmless, its Zuma we have to worry about!

How is Mbeki better than Zuma or vice versa? As far as I remember he's been at the centre of the Aids debacle, as a denialist. At least Zuma knows that you need to shower to rid yourself of Aids. Mbeki reckons it does not exist!!!
