I know that, but the paper figures only take you so far.
I'm not talking about paper figures, I'm talking about tests simulating real world usage.
Real world usage is different for everyone.
You should be done by nowOk got my drive... formatting it in my external using Mac OS Journaled and 1 partition using GUID. Will use super duper next then switch out the drives.
Edit: busy copying...
edit 17:16... Still copying, I see what bwana meant.....
You should be done by nowHow's it working out for you?
Amazed how super drive just cloned everything and got me back to where i was! Nice app guys, good find.
Do consider buying a license to support the guys who make it. You get the added ability to update a cloned drive, which makes for an excellent disaster recovery solution. I maintain three such clones of of my hard drive - one that stays at work, one that stays at home and one that goes travelling with me. If the drive in my MBP dies, I can just replace it and keep right on working. This saved my behind big time when my MacBook got nicked.
I am already considering buying a license... just wanna read a bit more about how that updated clone drive works, cos that is way better than time machine imo.
Time machine and superdupr perform two distinct roles. Having and using both is the ideal solution.
