Hi, anybody knowledgeable on the MTN services please enligthen me a bit.
I understand that, with the Me2U service, u can transfer airtime from one cellular account to another. When I contacted my one service provider, iTalk, I was told, no problem, just register, and go.
When we contacted Nashua Mobile, they say no way, it is only allowed for MTN-SP accounts.
So, I'm thinking, that sux! I thought its an MTN service, not a service provider service.
Is Nashua Mobile correct? Can some service providers give their users the finger on certain MTN services (rhetorical question I guess  )??
We've got one cell account, on MyChoice150 that's accumulated quite a bit of unused munny, which would be very wellcome if we could share with a few other accounts. But alas, its a Nashua Mobile account.

If you don't come right, close the nashua mobile account as soon as you can, if its prepaid (has to be?) port to MTN SP (even if its 1st to Voda, then back)

The MyChoice150 account has like R3600 worth of munny on it... don't u loose it when u port to another service provider?
This is a MC150 account which we got with a 3G PCMCIA data modem about 2 years ago, when that was the bestest value to get modems on. It hasn't been used much, so the monthly R150 kept being added on, a few months ago we upgraded to a new USB modem, on the 350Mb bundle, so now, any data that gets used, goes off the data bundle, and the munny stays untouched.
So unless we remove sim everyday, and use for voice calls, the Rand balance is 'wasted'.

Hi MTNs ME2U is available to any contract customer of MTN, irrespective of the SP. Nashua Mobile is providing incorrect info. Send me some details and ill investigate..

Yes but look at what hes posting, you want to transfer the existing airtime? the me2u service wont take your airtime, it will provide you with a charge over and above, well thats the last time i checked?

 How daft is that?

I didn't have much success with me2u, my son ran out of airtime and I called 808 to set it up so I could transfer some to him, apparently requires all sorts of forms to be faxed back and forth.

This and other ridiculous hoops MTN wanted me to jump through resulted in me terminating his contract. Yes, Snakepit, this is the one you spent all that time setting up for me, sorry. :(
