Mead, Where do i find it?

I came to say 'make it yourself' but I see others beat me to it.

I make my own fermented drinks and they are dead easy to make, hard to stuff up, and taste delicious.

I used to brew mead a decade ago. I tried the traditional method with just honey, the spice method and some of my own improvised recipes with gold flakes and other ingredients. All of my friends liked it very much.

Much better than beer or wine imo.

Was at Heckers Nursery (boksburg) this weekend and there was a guy selling Mead in the new plants for food section in the back. Had a few different varieties. All home made stuff. We bought a bottle of his 2014 'vintage' Yum stuff.

Was a couple years ago but when celebrating one of the kids 21st at Greensleeves they had mead on the menu..

+1 Been looking on and off for a while, any retail outlets in the city area that sell mead?!?

These guys are apparently local, but info on where to get the stuff is nowhere to be found:
https://www.melaurea.com

They've won some prizes at least, should be a good one to try.
Yeah, I did contact them via FB, because they don't list an address.

Never really looked into it or knew what it is made of. Kinda want to try it now, I hate beer though. Ciders and wine okay

Mead is basically honey wine. Can range from anywhere in the cider range all the way through bone dry whites and even into the dessert wine ranges (like muscadel), both still and sparkling. I am trying to gauge some interest in the matter.
