Mecca mosques were built incorrectly - report

Look I'm pretty open with my views because I believe we're all entitled to our opinions, and I don't like Muslims in general, but I do feel sorry for those builders who are most likely gonna get stoned for this :(

Do you not like radical muslims? or every muslim you meet? :p

thats fair enough. And i accept ur reasoning cos at the end of the day every person is entitled to their opinions. But let me throw a curve ball in here. Like u said- you just don't like it. Why is it that ppl accept the dislike of muslims, Yet if someone were to say "i don't like jews in general, its the same way i don't like tomatoes" we'll hear anti-semitic claims from all sides? By the same token wouldn't wat u just said be islamaphobic? I'm just asking to have a better understand of how ppl's thought processes work.. Not inciting anything so please don't the wrong impression here. Neither am i personally against jewish ppl, some of my friends are jewish.

NaushadE, maybe you can explain this then, muslims make a huge hoohaa about the Israel / Palestine conflict and muslims condemn the fact that its okay for a suicide bomber takes a few Israeli's lives, because they are fighting for a cause.
However we dont ever hear any word from you guys when a suicide bomber does an act of terrorism - for no apparent reason - does your act of "no comment" mean that you condem these actions as well - im sorry to say this , but if there is hatred against muslims, you guys caused this yourselfs.

I guess some people just don't like Christians or Jehova's Witnesses. I'm sure we've all experience a Jehova's Witness trying to bang down our doors and as you open it they bombard you with tracts and are nortoriously difficult to get them to leave, and for that reason I don't quite like them either :p

Personally I don't know any Muslim or Jehova's Witnesses etc but that doesn't mean I'm gonna turn them away if they need help or their car towed or if they need money.

Ok laying my cards on the table here, during my 7 or 8 odd years in the UK I've probably only met the bad type of Muslim's, you know, the ones that just wanna talk about religion to get into an argument and then get all threatening and start talking about if there was a Jihad who side would I pick blah blah blah, so I guess yeah my dislike comes more from actual fear because of bad experiences :(

I'm guessing they were probably the extremist Muslim's, much like extremist Christian's who you cannot have a normal conversation with, they just wanna Bible bash you every 5 seconds which just annoys me a lot

Edit: My view is that if you want to win someone over to your faith then practice what you preach. So many talk about their faith and peace and love etc but live lifestyles that are completely opposite. In the case of Muslim's, much like any faith really, I'm hoping that its just a minority of bad apples that are trying to spoil the whole bunch...

i'm sorry but i've never condoned a suicide attack in my life! Just like how i've never condoned the use of WHITE PHOSPHORUS on CIVILIANS! To make generalisations is an INSULT to the MILLIONS of muslims across the globe including myself. And yes i will make my opinions known on the conflict. But it has nothing to do with religion boet. Its ideological. Its financial. Its territorial. Nothing religious in that is there? All i asked the guy was why does he dislike muslims but for the reason that they were born muslim? Why does the world unite over the death of 2000 odd people but lay silent over the extermination of a nation? Please get ur facts straight before painting every single muslim wit the same brush.

precisely my point. In south africa muslims are very prominent in their communities and alot are prominent business leaders. And in the case of the gift of the givers founders - humanitarians who help out under-privilaged communities. My argument was to show u that not all muslims behave in the way that mainstream media portrays them. In the same way all christian americans are gun toting kkk members or members of the aryan nation. Granted that ur experiences have probably embedded a perception of muslims in you but like u said a few bad apples try to spoil the whole bunch.

Ye I agree, the media always paints us as bad people, but then again we ALL know who owns the media.

Dont waste time with Frankie and is Islamophobic crew...;)

muslims are generally very vocal (not a bad thing), however they are never vocal about the terrorism issues ie. in the newspapers muslims always comment about israel/palestine, not once have i ever read a muslim commenting about terrorisms. Its odd that whenever there is terrorism anywhere in the world, there are muslims involved.

I have a muslim work colleague, and i have nothing against her, however sometimes i feel that the muslim religion could be somewhat "evil".
Ive heard the kind of crap that gets preached in mosques and whats odd is that ive heard it directly from a muslim, makes one think that you guys are being brainwashed.

In the African churches they preach about the CCMA half the time >_<

Hands up who knows of the St Vincent de Paul group? Gift of the Givers, always manages to have the TV crews there when they do a delivery run. St V de P group, does basically the same amount of good works, and does not need press coverage. But then you did not know that.

erm, to be honest I am more scared of the Klu Klax clan then the Taliban.

Ever hear of a Sheethead beating a girl in a public mall, for walking next to a man? Yup, those clan honour killings are really bad.. The klack klack is just a bunch, small bunch, of pissed off old school white men, while the Taliban is a religion that has spread across a couple countries. Get your fears aimed at the real threat.

its a siege mentality. Btw i didn't see any muslims involved in the bombing of british base in ireland recently. Neither did i see any muslims involved in the spain bombings.

How wud u react if any time u flew, pass thru immigration and they pull u out for a full search? Its degrading. I've had it done to me on a flight from frankfurt to london. I eventually told the guy either u gimme a reason why u making me go thru the scanner five times or arrest me. He let me go. When i was taking the eurotrain from paris to london. At passport control the guy asked me why i wanna go to london. I asked him why do to ppl go to london. Its becos saa don't fly to paris! The person in front of me. Also a south african. Just stamped and go thru. No twenty questions there. And I don't even have a beard. Like i said. Siege mentality kicks in when ur religion gets attacked. Its human nature. The same way jewish ppl defend themselves when the iranian president says the holocaust didn't take place. Its just defence of ur faith nothing more.

the taliban isn't a religion. They've taken islamic laws and interperated it to the extreme. Honour killings are largely cultural than religious. The taliban are a group of ppl who take their religious beliefs to the very extreme. Many of the laws they've done enforced are wrong.

Actually we do criticise the terrorists, theres a facebook group and alot of letters and alot of leaders have tried to keep their distance... maybe open your eyes, just because you have seen or heard about it doesnt make it true.

Youve heard whats been preached at the Mosque? Since when? Any particular mosque? The Mosque I frequent tend to be about community issues like drugs, drag racing and girls wearing tight revealing clothes...

Actually they have to document it, they do get into alot of altercations when doing their work, they always get locked up and branded as helping the "terrorists"..

One thing I don't get is why Muslims are so hang up on sex and getting some. From what I understand, they claim that the creator of the universe made a rule. Or maybe he did not and "he who must not be drawn" got a bit upset the the Jews, who told him to take a hike, where getting a leg over, while he had to flee into the desert, to think things over. and what "he who must not be drawn" came up with a whole stack of mutterings that others desert wanderers copied down and "improved" on about not being allowed any nooky.

A friggin facebook group, woopeee twang, we all know FB groups are a load of crap. Anti-America crap is whats preached in the mosques, as to which mosques, well i couldnt give a **** which mosques, the point i was making is that it came from a muslim. Had it come from a christian, i probably would not beleive them.
Its a sin to drink alcohol, but its ok to blow up people, as long as its in the name of Alah - doesnt make much sense to me, but anyway, u keep your religion and i will keep mine.

actually - he who split the sea and he who was hung on a cross also preached abstinence before marriage. Obviously you never read corinthians did u? I suggest u read it. Maybe it'll enlighten u a bit. And i suggest u also consult a rabbi who'll tell u that although it isn't implicitly prohibited its undesirable. ;) oh. And if abstinence was so bad - why is the western world preaching it to the entire world? It prevents std's, emotional abuse. Must i go on? Honestly, u seem to have a warped sense of the world and clearly ur thought process is flawed. I suggest u do a fact check before showing us how silly u are.
