Mechanical keyboards

Can you plug those Corsairs into a laptop? They look like they use more power than an ultraportable laptop.

I like MX Cherry switches, but since going Logitech I got attached to Romer-G switches which are Omron switches. It is in the middle, a good balance between typing and gaming.

I will never trade my Logitech G910 Orion Spectrum, and when I must get a new keyboard it will probably be another G910.

This isn’t MX Cherry switches, it was incredibly hard to Romer-G this over MX Cherry Red/Brown, but in time I got used to it.

Almost always just a single thick cable that contains 2x USB connections. One to power the keyboard and an optional one if you want to activate the pass-through USB port on the keyboard.

The ugly one is the Logitech G910 Orion Spark. The keyboard, however, is discontinued, but still available overseas. Logitech is now all into the PRO brand which they are busy to expand.

I hope to see a G910 replacement soon.

The pass-through USB is a big plus for me.

Yeah, basically just moving a USB port on the back of a case to a more convenient location. No point not doing it unless you're using all the rear ports.

I have my mouse plugged into the keyboard :p

Quality mechanical keyboards are supposed to last.

I always chuckle when gamers speak about longevity of keyboards since I can’t ever remember old keyboards from the 80s and 90s ever failing for any reason. I’m pretty sure that most DIN and PS2 keyboards from decades ago would still work today without fading of lettering or any problem keys. For the price people pay for a simple input device these days you would think that the manufacturers would be giving lifetime guarantees hand over foot to ensure customers satisfaction.

I can tell you that I am using last few years after my ASUS thing have died out something like for example SVEN keyboard plus mice and that's really it no matter what. And I think it have some mechanical keyboard, I bought it being in easter europe, ukraine, but I bet it's a very very good device.
