Mechanical keyboards

Necro post, early last week got the Keychron K8 Pro with brown switches from Geewiz (they sold out in 2-3 days) and it seems just about right for my needs in an office setting. Linking to the keyboard at Wootware below because Geewiz seem to remove all traces of their product that goes out of stock

Also been looking at getting a Keychron (want something compact and wireless)

What is the difference between the normal K series and the Pro models?

Well it's my first Keychron so I can only go on what I've seen in video reviews, I think the Pro version is more premium switches, keycaps, etc... It does seem like one gets what one pays for, the more expensive models they put more time and materials into them. I just figured one would be looking at R1500 already for even the non-Pro Keychrons so what's an extra R500-R600 over and above that to make sure I'll really be happy. Also the hot swappable switches are standard with the K8 Pro.
