Any experts that could help me sort my wifi connection.
I can see mede8er on the network but i cannot stream or see my main pc from it.
However i can see mede8er and transfer files to it thru wifi but at 1m/sec, its a mission

How much did you pay for the dongle, and from where?

Awesome service.

I tried the forums and read the wifi step by step, but i just cant seem to find my pc on the mede8er interface.
I can see mede8er from my pc and drag and drop files, but not the other way round.

Just thought someone could help that already had battled the issue........LOL

By the way i found it essential to update firmware to 2.0.2 to use the wifi dongle, there were more options available once updated like auto find ssid etc etc

So you say there is a battle ahead of me... I hope not :D

I think most of us have been waiting for the dongles to become available. I'll get one soon and see how it goes.
 
Are you going through a router or not? If not you would probably want to setup an 'Ad-hoc" wireless network. Also check your Win Firewall settings , also check your power settings on your wifi card (IF you are using one in Windows) , sometimes windows shuts down certain devices to save power.

For those still interested in getting the Wifi dongle, Take2 have them available for R218 :)

Anyone that has one, do they only work in the Mede8er or can you plug them into a PC as well and they work?
