Media player DTSHD-MA audio support

Hi there

looking for a media player that can do at least DTS HD-MA audio cause I have a few files in that format and we just bought a samsung q60a and Samsung doesn't support DTS audio anymore.

I know the nvidia shield pro can do it but i don't want to pay an arm and a leg for a media device. Currently we have the following

Samsung q60A
Denon x550bt receiver
older Sony blue ray player (can do dts-hd ma blue ray disk playback)

So what is the cheapest solution?

I had a look online and there isn’t really a media player that can passthrough DTS-MA besides the Shield. The reason the shield can do it is because it is a high-performance Android box that supports gaming to a certain extent as well.

There are few if any besides the Shield that have the capabilities to do so, even Xbox and Playstation don’t support it.
He can look at a Vero OSMC, they support all major formats including DTS-HD MA, we do not supply them and he will need to confirm if it fits his requirements, we don’t want to be held liable for him buying something that doesn’t work for his application.
Apple TV only supports PCM up-mix to 7.1 surround so that is a no go.

There are a few Media Boxes online that maintain they do DTS 2.0, but I wouldn’t trust it.
 
Always wondered why TF the shield was so expensive VS my Mi Stick. Now
i know.
At least I know im getting normal Dolby Digital out of the stick...:p
