First time in my life I ever heard about MEEP, anyone actually using this service from Vodacom http://www.vodacom.co.za/services/meep.jsp, just very curious.....

hahahahaha, mxit is dead try 2go www.2go.co.za/wap they cheaper and much more friendly service but u right nobody could actually compete against Mxit.

I don't do Mxit...unless I can find a way to plug a full blown keyboard into my phone. (PC Mxit doesn't count)

All i can say its k@K and it never worked on my phone..no matter how many times i called customer care vodacom.
All i wanted was to see how it works and looks..

A service like this is not that difficult to implement. The hardest part is the mobile clients, and marketing. The server part is actually easy to set op (hint: openfire).

It doesn't matter if something else is better, Mxit has the user base, its the network effect.

True they do have the db, but mxit is a waste of time...... Hardly ever on these days life is to busy.

I think Mxit, will die a slow death could be wrong but they still have market share
