Meeting request from MTN

besides the fact that caroper is a complete madman :) great to hear MTN is joining the party - helping each other is always a good thing. Direct customer input can be invaluable.. we all want the same thing, and if there's any way we can help the companies we are in contact with improve their services then thats wonderful.

I don't expect Telkom to come around, they don't have the initiative methinks. MTN and Vodacom on the other hand are setting an excellent example of a customer-focused company, more so now than before.

perhaps such a meeting should not be about "helping WBS fix their own network problems"

Why the hell not, I have a sneaky suspicion that some of us here are a bit more qualified than whatever gimps they have in a dark room there.

This is brilliant news rpm, and once again, full credit to you and the mods for all you do. Vodacom and MTN - well done for taking notice. Lets see if a constuctive and mutally beneficial relationship can be borne of this.

I agree with you totally there, however the reason I said what I did, is the history of the Sentech CUG saga.

Ultimately if WBS need such expert assistance then they need to sub-contract the work out to the experts & pay them accordingly - otherwise it is just a PR exercise [IMO].

My feeling is that there is plenty of scope for WBS to improve their relationship with MyADSL members and iBurst customers. The ball is very much in WBS' court though.
