Next time your there, benchmark his bandwidth, he probably thinks we all have what he has and can't understand the gripes :)

I reckon Mampoer or Witblitz for that purpose ;) Then we guaranteed a signature or two.
 
Problem is the signature will be a couple of squiggles ending in a long, sloping line.
 
Perhaps RPM should take with a really mean looking paintball marker with to his next meeting

I tried to hold mine but am afraid I will die before seeing anything concrete happenor before we see any tangible results or changes that will put us back on track with international and without per gig billing!

@RPM did he apologise for the lack of anything happening since the last meeting that ran amok after his goons took over? What is he fingering for now! did he mention what they would like to see!
 
wow i also thought this was another *bump* thread. Well with DoC announcement imminent [sorry hard to resist] I think their two month delay reductions they are going thru maybe?
 
There's going to be an announcement one day of masses of MyADSL subscribers when Telkom actually does something ^_^

Since Papi came into "power" how many times has he meet with RPM?

During $izwe's whole money spinning tunure, how many times did he meet with RPM?

How long have Papi being in office

Was Papi perhaps 'phishing' for a heads up in the upcoming ICASA ADSL Talks at the end of the month?

I wonder if he's just being diligent and cross-referencing what his 'underlings' are telling him since he's such a hands-on individual (as read from his last interview about a month back).

I don't suppose a busy man like Papi will make an appearance at the ICASA talks? That would really be something and quite possibly shake things up - I'd luv to be there if that happens, at least some entertainment value can come out of all the 'meeting's that take place but result in no action :rolleyes:

One of the quickest and easiest opportunities to prove that Telkom is serious about what they are saying would be to adress the serious lack of service when answering call on 0800 375 375 for ADSL problems. I have never ever had my call answered in less that 15 minutes. It should not be hard to appoint skilled and knowledgeable individuals to improve the service.

Until these types of issues are adressed all there talk is only talk in an effort to calm frustrated clients.
 
Did you remember to thank him for implementing the 1 Nov'05 changes, that was really good of him, VOMITS!

Only difference between Papi and Sizwe is that while shaking your hand and reaching for your wallet, Papi smiles in the process.

Next time you meet let me know, I will sponsor a T-Shirt with a graph of Telkom TKG's share price printed on the front of it.

What I don't understand here is that Telkom happily announce "Supreme Call" (which is supposed to be a price cut) during the same period when they supposidly can't announce and ADSL cuts. Could it be because they are just making far too much money off ADSL. Based on IS's calculations the other day, it would take Telkom only 5 months of 512K line costs to cover the total cost of the hardware required for ADSL.

Lets say they are doing the wise thing and writing the costs off over 2 1/2 years. Assuming everyone is using 384K lines, they are still making R270 per month (R350-R78) per person or R38 million profit per month on the lines.

And this from a company that is supposed to be looking out for SA's interests according to the government. Yeah right.
