Has anyone signed up with MegaLan? The guys there are not very helpful, but their 128K PPTP service looks good, even if it's an extra R399 on top of your Telkom Prolog account. What kind of download speeds would you get on that, and could you then use their service to connect different offices online?

speed wise u would get about i am guessing + - 14Kb/s just like a 128k isdn line i am shure not much more then that ..there might be a problem with that service thoe couse my ISP said they tried hosting such a option , but the users kept on getting dissconected so they stoped offering it , just becarefull

We've had users connected for more than 18 hours without problems... I suppose setting things up right has allot to do with it.

Re not being helpful... I find that hard to believe. We sit for hours with users actually analysing their connections in real time while the user is on the phone to resolve problems. Perhaps a user wanting or needing support should just call or email us when they need it.

And yes, our services are still not 100% but we are getting pretty close. Hopefully in the next week or so we should have definate awnsers and resolutions to current problems.
