There doesn't seem to be one thread yet for general Megsapp user Feedback and Support so I started this thread.
Megsapp offers awesome call rates and data that doesn't expire but be prepared for the spam SMS's they will send every damn day..

They have sim cards and eSims
Airtime and Data never expires and bundles can be shared with other Megsapp numbers.
Top up in-App and get 10% more value for the same price(They don't state as much but this only applies to small data packages)

SMS Rates

R0.25 cents per SMS to any network.

Voice Rates

R0.69 cents per/min billed per/sec to any network.

Is anyone else having issues with the Megsapp iOS app crashing repeatedly, it just crashes immediately after you log-in?
It's been like that for a long time now but now I need to buy airtime and it would be great to be able to use the app.
Can you top-up via the Megsapp website?

As of 2024 08 21 on the iOS app if you don't allow notifications the app will crash every time you open it.

Not very competitive. Lack of expiry is the only benefit but with Afrihost it still only expires the following month. They're R20 more for 1gb, R50 more for 10gb etc. Or am I missing something?

Same issue. Haven’t topped up since my free 2GB expired.

hey! You can top up on USSD by purchasing vouchers: 1Voucher, OTT Voucher or BluVoucher.

We are working on a web solution.

But the Apps should work. In most cases the classic uninstall and reinstall works. Restart your device just to make sure
If it persists, let me know.

Thank you for your support!

@migmegs The app is not working, well not on iOS at least and it’s been like that for months.
I've tried everything and it doesn't help.
Please expedite having it looked, considering that's the only way people can easily buy airtime or data

Most people don't need so much data on their phone when out of wifi range so the real value of data that doesn't expire is when you buy something like the 25GB for R349 and you can use it for 12 months or more depending on useage so that roughly equates to 2GB a month for R29pm which smokes Afrihost's pricing.

What do you mean you are working on it???
Just stop doing it, stop spamming, it's not hard.
Or give users the ability to opt out, it’s totally unethical to spam users every damn day with marketing sms's. Nevermind it has the opposite effect and pushes people away from using your product, if I didn't know how to mute the sms's Megsapp spam me with I would probably have dropped you guys altogether a long time ago.

Hi,

I have the iOS App on my phone and it’s working 100%.

We have recently updated the App.

Please download the latest version here:

Hi Mighael

When will VoLTE and VoWiFi be enabled / supported by MegsApp ?

An estimated date / time frame perhaps ?

Hey! Thanks for reaching out.

Unfortunately, VoLTE and VoWiFi are not currently available to MVNO providers like us.
However, we're in discussions with our partners to explore the possibility of supporting these features in the future.

While I don't have an estimated date or timeframe to share just yet, I'll be sure to keep you updated on any progress.

Appreciate your patience and understanding!

This is 100% why I bought it - some months I'll use 20gb, other months I'll use almost none. Nice to have something that you can use when you want, that doesn't expire.

Their support isn't great - but - fortunately not many issues.
