Megsapp Feedback and Support Thread

No fk that, if I couldn't silence their spam I’d can then straight away, my sanity isn't worth the few bob I save using Megsapp. I have R100 credit waiting for me with Air Mobile but I have had enough of their bs, maybe Megsapp is heading the same way.

And also spam is spam, there's no excuse for it and in any case it’s pointless, they have already "captured" us as customers there's no need to spam us, nevermind spam pushes existing users away from spending on their services and not towards them.
Gents I agree with you. Totally do. I will try and block there spam numbers so I don't get the SMS's either.
 
Can anyone on iOS find the app on the AppStore. I have searched for it and no results found. When I use the direct link on their website, I receive a notification that the app is not supported for my region/country. I have verified and my region/country is South Africa...
 
I was about to buy the 25GB for R349 after testing the 2GB for R2 eSIM last week.

Should I rather wait to see if the app returns to he iOS Appstore?
 
Great deleted my esim and now it's stuck on activating. Guess I'm porting back to Afrihost. Tired of struggling with Megsapp.
Had the exact same issue last week. It took me almost 2 days to convince support to provision me a new esim. When I informed them the esim is stuck on activating, they revert back that everything looked fine from their side...

Its quite clear they follow a script, and can't move beyond that - even if there is a known issue.

I had the same when MTN was down.... they make you jump through hoops, and then finally tell you there's an unrelated issue causing the problem.

The offering is great, but - they really need to work on their first line support.

I had the same experience with Afrihost/airmobile, they issue an eSim swop and it just stays stuck on activating, also same story from their support.. it’s fine on their side so gtfo.

The support is total garbage on both platforms, agents are totally clueless, I wouldn't be surprised if behind the scenes Afrihost owns and manages both of them or they share a call centre.

You'll probably find its not the actual support agent, but management who insist they do not go off script, and if they do they don't meet their kpis
