Megsapp Feedback and Support Thread

Finally got my number back. I thought the porting will only happen tonight at 7pm.

Final thoughts
Esim in this country is still a mess. Meandyou mobile deleted my esims and now it's wonky with Megsapp as well. I didn't have issues with Melon Mobile apart from them getting more expensive. Uconnect also worked fine but they're also expensive and data does expire every 30 days. I'll stick around with Megsapp and just use a physical sim. I still have loads of data and airtime with them.

Now these muppets are spamming me on their WhatsApp support channel.
Bots gone rogue :(

Wonder what went wrong. Developer forgot to pay the annual AppStore fee...?

On the website they state this :
Top up in-App and get 10% more value for the same price
How exactly is this applied because recently I loaded R20 and only got R20 airtime not R22 airtime?

I see as with all of these MNO's, the sneaky lying bastard traits are built-in to their DNA, the T&C's are always different to what they advertise.
The full story is the 10% only applies when you buy data, well done Megsapp for the blatant bait and switch:
"Top up in-app using your bank card and get 10% more data!"

This is what is advertised on the homepage

Yeah, and they also make sure they are not too generous.

When you try to purchase double digit GB data (10GB or 25GB) then that 10% extra also magically does not apply =>

When I'm transferring data from one sim to another I get a message that says the max monthly amount to transfer is 7.5gb. that is new and annoying

Looks like the good times weren't meant to last, bait and switch, I suppose we need to remember they are first and foremost a MNO and all the underhand behaviour that entails.
Previously could you transfer as much data as you wanted?

Yep I had three 50Gb sims with them and a bunch of 2gb sims for use in various devices.

I tranferred all 150 Gb to a single sim and have been doling out Gb to my devices as needed. Its been working perfectly

Now with this limit the 150gb are going to be stuck on a single sim. I would have split it if I knew

It's borderline illegal when they implement these changes with no heads up to customers.
Like MTN introduced a rule that any prepaid airtime reloads below R25 expire after 2 weeks, I lost a lot of airtime till I discovered that

Anyone experiencing issues with MegsApp signal?
