So I totally skr... up. I formatted the memory card where my little angel's first birthday images was on! And thats not all, I forgot the camera at a relative's house, and they took photos on that card, which I heard makes it difficult to recover the lost ones.

I tried pc inspector, getdataback for fat, and Card recovery, none show the images of that specific day.

What other programs are there which are good, even if it means a few dollars? Or are there maybe someone who can do this? Someone on this forum or maybe a business? I'm really desperate.

Ooh that might be a problem to retrieve now after you've written files back onto the disk. Here's another program that could help you out http://www.ntfsrecovery.com/Advanced_NTFS_Recovery.exehttp://www.ntfsrecovery.com/Advanced_NTFS_Recovery.exe. Its a trial but will also show you which files are recoverable.

Isn't that just for ntfs drives? Mine is a fat sd card.

use getdataback it will get the stuff back even if you formatted it
It "saw" the least of all the programs.

If the card was used after formatting, it gets progressively more difficult to recover files as the card gets fuller. If the card is completely filled, the previous data is gone.

I managed to recover about 80% of the data on a card I'd formatted then started using (even though I'd only taken 4 or 5 shots), using PC Inspector's Smart Recovery.

RecoverMyFiles. But download from mediafire or rapidshare for a version with a crack. It has fast, thorough and format recovery search. I have managed to retrieve and recover many deleted and formatted .jpg/.jpeg images and other formats.
