Memory Issues

You are describing me. I have bad discipline. :notworthy:
Then maybe less panacea and more change in your lifestyle and see if it helps. You're maybe just getting bad quality sleep and your ability to pay sustained attention might be affected by your always flipping your attention to digital devices rather than consciously staying with something for long periods.

Farken hell

OP do you breathe? If so this man has something to tell you.
It's not that difficult to drink your last coffee at lunch time, switch off screens an hour before bed and spend the time reading a book instead.

Are you staring at screens till just before bed?
Drinking caffeine late into the afternoon?
Do you read books - like sit and read for an hour or two without checking your phone every 5 minutes?
Tried meditating?

Edit: Smoke loads of cannabis when you were younger / drink a lot?
Why do you ask about reading books? Is that good for memory?

I'm going to do this. I really am. Thank you.

I honestly don't remember much. I use notes and schedule reminders to do stuff.

I am not tired, but struggle to sleep most days.

Yes, I do struggle to concentrate.
This is me to a tee. I meet people I should know who talk about earlier years but I have no clue. I can't remember anything earlier than late high school and even that she a vague blur. I thought that it was normal to be this way..
There are no memories earlier than that
I do feel down and depressed and I thought that's the reason. Or maybe I feel depressed cos my memory is as bad as it is now.. Not sure anymore

Don't worry about it OP. Daily smokers like myself get used to not having much short-term memory.

I've learned to use the environment myself. External memory. Observe the current state and act accordingly. If you force yourself to always act regardless of how you feel at the time you can't really go wrong.

You will forget so always write things down / handle ASAP.

Beginning to see this with myself, getting worse and worse, does not help alzheimer's is in the family

Probably, but there were other things and when I could catch up and play I was lynched :cautious:

Ok cool. But try and engage next time you play. Although it can be quite vicious at times, it is a communal game :)
