I just had someone from Dell explain Dual Channel memory to me like this.
Processor bus - 1333
Dual channel 667 = 1334 FSB
He said they're matched now because 2x667 = 1334 to the processor
Any truth to this? I doubt it. As far as I understand dual channel simply means you can get twice the ammount of info through the memory at the same time.
