So it's not like Ronaldo is doing badly. Even though he is having an average season compared to ast year.

Stop trying to sugarcoat Ronaldo's performances. It is very poor. Funny thing is, he isnt playing different compared to last year. Its just that he doesnt have the team playing for him this season.

This season i dont think he had a single performance to warrent him being the best player in the world. I have noticed even the United supporters are getting frustrated with him. How many goals have he scored through open play this season?

The central defenders are usually big, strong, aggressive lads. I guess it is probably because of these characteristics that the majority think they can solve problems by getting tough with me.

Ya, generally the defenders arent up to standard. The top 4 i would say can defend.

A player like Eto will have a field day in the premier league.

You ignorant so-and-so (I'd say prat, but then this post would be reportable... ) - he was not average in La Liga... he was over used. I mean come on... the boy is an amazing talent, he just didn't have the backup some player had. I mean imagine if someone put MEssi as the sole saviour of Barca (plus captaincy) and he didn't have much of a team to play with. Not that Ateli were bad, mind, but they weren't conductive to the nurturing of such a talent.

Morientes :couldnt buy a goal in the epl ,goes back to la liga and in a poor Valencia side and the goals flow again
Diego Forlan : was piss poor in the Epl could score to save his life ,but he won the pachichi in Spain
Freddie Kanoute : again couldnt hack it in the Epl went to Laliga and overnight became a goal scoring machine

There are differences when you use Torres as an example. Both teams he played for Torres was the centre of attention, the team was setup for him.

Forlan, Morientas or Kanoute was not given the same role Torres had Atletico or Pool.
