That will take some doing. He ha 9 league goals now with Anelka surprisingly in front with 14, followed by Robinho(11) and Amir Zhaki(10).

but barton did spend a few months behind bars
That's my main gripe with him. He only shines for a few games or a few months out of the season. Tremendously talented but very inconsistent.
no up until this season hes been struggling with fitness...
but hes done great this season
yah that's true hey. Just checked he has 12 goals in all competitions and 8 in the League. Nothing spectacular but decent I guess.
7 assists so far too (in the league cant find stats for other competitions), 3 against hull and 1 in the previous game against bolton

Every goal arsenal has scored this month has either been scored by vp or has his name down for an assist. he is really doing well!!

You can count on messi to produce the goods when its needed, his saved barca many times this season.Like today, barca down 1-0 he comes off the bench and scores 2 goals!

His been on the bench a few times this season, Guardiola knows when to play him and when to rest him.
