I am happy with MFN (and Cool Ideas)

Initially there were issues with the VLANs (I was able to access other user's TPlink and Tenda and even a Huawei Router login pages)....

Anyways, now very happy. On 50/50 and I see 54Mbps on upload and download on my Mikrotik. Netflix, Youtube just goes and goes.

All CDN (Content Delivery Network - Local) also flies. International is "OK" but I don't need to access International that often.

International (Centurion to London - CoreIX) - It's "OK"

I am signing up with Initio as my ISP, I'm getting a 100/100. The international speeds look quite promising.

I'll keep you guys updated aswell.

Basically from a feedback scenario they are currently install fibre backhaul throughout Pretoria North area, this includes: Montana, Sinoville, Doornpoort, Annlin, Magalieskruin and Wonderboom.

Their POP is currently in Montana somewhere but no idea where.

Hi Guys

Which ISP are you using? I am with Rocketnet on a 10mbs line at the moment

I am using MFN direct and am getting stable 5.5MBps for both local and international using MFN direct.

This is on a 50Mbps connection - wish I could try their 100Mbps or 200Mbps products but they're a bit on the expensive side.

Hi RetroRabbit, below are speed tests on a 100Mb/s line, done via the Mesh WiFi solution that Metrofibre optionally provide.

Which MESH Wifi is that if i may ask?

We might be getting MetroFibre installed in our complex and would like to also get the 100 up 100 down with them. I already have Airties MESH behind a Mikrotik hAP

I have a Calix 844G installed, and have the Calix 804 as the Mesh unit.
It looks like I will be receiving the same equipment for the Gigago connection.

I find it quite strange that Gigago can't take over administration of the current Calix 813G that is in my house. It would be far cheaper this way instead of sending a vehicle to collect the 813 & then sending another vehicle to deliver the 804 & 844.

I think this hasn't been thought through by management.
