Ag no. Hard news indeed. While we bumped heads from time to time, I always liked the man behind the nic. He was an institution here on this forum. I am saddened.

Rest in peace.

He was a good guy, a good mod, a GREAT Loss.

Please pass on our sympathies to the families and to all the friends, and to his close mates on here, sorry...


I was thinking of asking him if the Arsenal game will be screened on dstv tomorrow...

Eish still remember him saying hey Korny and we laughed about some jokes at the conference . Eish I miss him . I feel so sad for his family :cry:

RIP Mickey D, one of the most amazing forumites I've ever had encounters with, always went beyond the call of duty to try and help anyone out. Condolences to his family and friends.

I can only mirror what others have said here. Lawrence was a great man, a real legend on this forum and in real life. MyBB has lost one of it's most valued members and he will be missed dearly. Even though I didn't interact with him a lot on here, his banter and wit and advice will be missed by many! I had the pleasure of meeting him at two PE meets and a few times afterwards as well, once pretty recently when I dropped off some PC parts for his son. Sadly I didn't get to see him that day, but wherever you are old man, know that you are in all of our hearts.

May you rest in peace, and condolences to your family. May your legend live on!
 
I have not met him irl but enjoyed his posts, especially the effort he placed in the rugby competitions.

Wow, this thread is like a body blow. To miss someone you never even met in real life, that's how much of an impact he had on many people. To all the help over the years and the snarky funny stuff over the years, I appreciate it and you'll be missed balie ..... RiP now :(
