MickeyD has passed away

I'll always remember his love for sport and I'm sure he could have been a pro cricketer if there was money in the sport ( in the 70's/80's)

So very very sad :( He just made pension not too long ago.

My heartfelt condolences to his wife and family. I just aw this in a signature for Mercurial and thought he was taking the piss. This is extremely sad! MickeyD, you will be surely missed! I was so looking forward to meet you in PE when I visit our office there.

It was why I put it there, so that others can also know what happened.

Condolences to his family. He was a pillar of MyBB.
 
I might not post much but I lurk almost every day. MickeyD was always helpful and knowledgeable everywhere on the forum and, by all accounts, in his everyday life. I had noted his relatively early retirement and his staying active in the community was inspiring. I must say that despite never interacting with him on the forum, he was enough of a presence here that news of his illness actually gave me pause and I felt real concern, hoping it was not an ill omen :(. He was taken too early.

RIP McD. I wish his family sincere condolences.
