Micro SD Card for TyTN 2

Anybody know where you can get an 8GB Micro SDHC? Not one store I've been to has them.

I've found a dealer on Bid or Buy who has a whole selection of SD/SDHC cards, seems a good price and the guys been verfied, so at least if he's dodgy I can get my money back :) does anyone know the Integal make, I looked them up, seem legit ?

I wouldn't trust anything but a genuine Sandisk or Kingston.

True, but times are tough :)

I bought an 8Gb SHDC from that dealer, will tell you how good it is when I've finished playing with it .. but thanks anyway.

I bought the first one at the time for around R1100. First one is the retail package and comes with the USB adapter (very useful). The second does not seem to come with the adapter.

Edit: Oh there might be other differences - notice the number 2 on the first and the number 4 on the second? I'm not sure what it's for - maybe someone can explain?

The 2 and the 4 represent the class or speed of the card ..

SDHC cards have SD Speed Class Ratings defined by the SD Association. The SD Speed Class Ratings specify the following minimum write speeds based on "the best fragmented state where no memory unit is occupied":

* Class 2: 2 MB/s
* Class 4: 4 MB/s
* Class 6: 6 MB/s

So basically, the higher the number the quicker the card !

There's a local site called www.storageman.co.za that lists all the technical details of SD cards, either Micro, Mini, SDHC etc.

If you're holding a card in your hand (for argument's sake a 2GB card that came bundled with your new Nokia) how can you tell what class it belongs to?

Thanks for replying, but I was actually referring to the class (speed) not the physical size :)
