Microsoft Access

Check at work if there's a "Microsoft Enterprise Agreement", I paid R126 for Office 2007.
(Just delivery charges)

LOL; I'm sure it cost you a LOT more than R126! With the MEA you pay for your software usage once a year....
 
OK, I see what you mean. My point was that you have already bought the enterprise CAL for the client which includes Office, Exchange etc. So to install Office does not require an additional purchase. But the price of that Ent CAL is more than R126....

BTW don't you have a MS pack with all the software install media; then you would not have to pay anything - just use the disks provided?

Not that we can use at home.

We have an "agreement" with MS that whatever software we have of their's at work, our staff can purchase as well.
U just pay the delivery charge.

They also added stuff like MS money 2005, Office for mac, Encarta and some games... U just pay the delivery charge of R126.
 
Encarta too? Thats pretty cool.... I wonder what happens if you leave your company? Do you still keep the software (probably not?)? I was not aware of this agreement for home users (MS used to allow users to run software at home and the office, but not other software) - will need to investigate further - I don't think my customers are aware of this either!

This is basically the splurb we got at work a couple of years ago:

I never bothered to but Vista.
The R143 is down to R126 now.

I'm not sure how they're going to tell if u don't work there anymore.
I installed office with the key provided and it never asked me to register it online.
