Microsoft cuts Xbox 360 model price

Your Xbox will awlays be outta date within 12 months. If it's not quieter DVD drives/computer chips or HDMI ports - it's larger hard drivers.
 
Yep. Its hard to keep up. My non-HDMI Pro with 20GB HDD is long time old news :(

The "price cut" is, firstly, in the US only and Secondly not a full price cut it's a clearance sale to move 20Gb's out the way for the new 60Gb's, which btw, we will not be getting anyway, they're North America only as well.

We got a fantastic price cut at the beginning of the year with Europe, which the US never got, so even if they make the cut permanent there's nothign to complain about.
 
An upgraded Xbox 360 Pro model with 60 gigabytes of memory will hit markets in those same two countries in August ...

Why would the Xbox need so much memory? Did they also "upgrade" to Vista?

actually, a hdd is a type of memory so the journo wasn't wrong at all ;)
