Microsoft releases old-school file manager for Windows 10

Queue debate on the best file manager ever. I'll just save everyone the effort: Total Commander (for Windows). :giggle:

Except that you are wrong.

Best file manager is almost certainly Finder, followed by Midnight Commander.
 
Don't give a flying crap about which file manager I use. Every file manager since Windows 3.x has worked perfectly fine for me.

When are they going to release the Windows 10 Light mode theme they teased back in November last year?
 
Nice bit of retro there.

I've finally made the move to Win10, and the best file manager I've used so far is the native Win10 manager with QttabBar plugin. Tabs, better folder views and file preview on hover (works great with images, audio and video).

Looking at screenshots of it on the internet i do not remember that one.
I loved Norton Commander and there was another, something like pathfinder, or pathminder. Cant remember. They were my favourite.

I like Nautilus. Can work across multiple file systems, include doing shares with FuSe. These windows tools are too limited :(
