That would have been a nice thing if battery life on smartphones were better. I have Samsung Galaxy S2 and frankly I struggle to get through an 8 hour day even with a lot of tweaking - and that is just calls/on-device internet use/app use. And everybody will now recommend "phone X, Y and Z or mod 1, 2 or 3" right now, but IMHO none of them provide adequate battery life, especially when you start hammering the phone with a constant connection.

Not really an issue for me personally. I don't use my phone as hotspot for prolonged periods, I have wifi at home and at work. I won't even really take a tablet with me very often, other than home and work ofc.
