Microsoft using AI to improve Windows 10 updates

Microsoft announced it is using artificial intelligence to improve the quality and reliability of its Windows 10 updates.

The company said its AI selects devices that would have the best experience moving to the April 2018 update and offers the update to them first.

I already developed my own AI to improve windows updates
I had to burn the hard drive tho because it just keep screaming

"let the users choose which updates they want"
"let the users decide when the updates are downloaded"
"let the users decide when the updates are installed"

That's we need another background process sending data to Microsoft

My AI had me trash my Windows10 PC and install Ubuntu because of unwanted updates that wouldn't disable.

I'm also a converted. Installed Mint last week. Tired of W10 taking 20 mins to startup even after a reinstall. Installed Mint, takes 30 secs.

Wouldn't say converted yet - I find the user interface incredibly buggy - doing ok from the shell though :p

I use Google's AI regularly to inform me how to get rid of Windows 10's crap and to find replacement OS

I've used Google's AI to tell me about group policy and how to disable windows updates.

So did I - nothing worked. gpo's, registry changes, metered connections, third party tools, etc. would sometimes last a week or so, then the updates started again.
