She moans to you, you moan on this BBS. You could call her flowers, her pets. How would you like it if she kept a dog and that dog chased and mauled your cat each time it came outside?

Agreement here. The point is when it infringes on other people's rights.

The woman does sound like a moaning wench with nothing better to do than moan, but she has rights as well.

Thats another point, I have never once complained about anyones animals and I have had my fair share of it aswell. I have had the people across the roads dog under my bed because the garden service scared it away. I just took it back bacause I understand that buying in a complex you have to tolerate others. SHe can get a dog of whatever magnitude she wants, It was actually even a suggestion I made to her. My cats are not stupid. if there is a dog there they will run away.

A while back one of the other neighbors was a bit pissed and drove over my last cat who was 12 years old. He came and said he was drunk and he was sorry and thats where I left it although I was sad.

I dont think people on here understand what it takes to push me this far. If you think I'm in the wrong I welcome you to come and meet her to make up your own mind. You can use my garage to hang yourself after talking to her for ten minutes if you like.

I was going to attempt to make my own cat fence when my leave in december started and then on one of my last few days of work I find wet newspaper thrown over my front door and step. and then a couple of days later wet soil over the step. This is where any co-operation I was willing to put in to safe guard my cats went out the window. Now she can put up the fence to keep cats out. Carry on like a 5 year old and thats exactly how I will treat you. My 88 year old grand mother comes around alot, she brings me cake every wednesday. Now this saddle bag neighbor of mine throws something on the step and my grand mother trips and dies. Then am I still the unreasonable one?

Invite her to this forum and let her present her case. Maybe once you both get to read each other's POV's maybe an agreement will follow.

I would put the internet or even an electric toaster a tad out of her mental reach. But the lawyers should be done sometime next week. I'll let everyone know what a court thinks about it.

I love cats and dogs (except poodles - they are satan's spawn). maybe you could keep your cat indoors. alot of people do it especially when said cat is a pure bred of whichever kind. you could argue the whole 'its cruel to keep a cat indoors' angle but it is also cruel to keep a dog in a yard the size of a postage stamp as a lot of people do these days.
good luck with your cat though. I would seriously consider keeping it indoors after you & lawyer-folk are done with her - she could easily go on a vengeful killing spree.
and yes your neighbour sounds like a moronic whine infestee.
PS what kind of cat is it?
