What I'm having a problem with is opening tabs on my internet browser. With my mouse I am used to just pressing the middle button for a new tab to open up.

Now with the Mac's trackpad I have to use a two finger click to open a right click menu and then click on open new tab.

Is there a way to get a middle click going somehow?

Isn't it 3 fingers?

EDIT: Googling this reveals little, I'm afraid. Good luck!

You can, but only for right click.

Stooooopid Apple. :p My lappie has each corner of the touchpad set up for a different function, plus 2-finger drag for scrolling. Glad you found your script though; I'd lose my innerwebz-marbles without middle-click.

I don't bother with middle click on my Mac's trackpad. I use CMD + click to open a link in a new tab.

I have noticed that sometimes, depending on the site's javascript or the browser, that it doesn't work (very seldom though)
