Migrate Contract to Pre-Paid - Italk / MTN

Hi Everyone,

Anyone have any information / success stories on migrating from an MTN contract to a Pre-paid (i.e. keeping your number without being shackled to Italk)

I don't know about Italk, but when I checked with MTNSP, I was told that you can't do that. If you cancel your contract you lose the number.
