Hi Afrihost support.

I currently have a line that is in process of being activated from Vuma Reach with Home-Connect that was paid for on the 15th July and still not active after numerous calls, logged tickets and follow-ups. It's really frustrating. This was an upgrade from their 40Mbps line to 100Mbps to which the Home-Connect support rep told me would be a quick process but here I am with no line active.

Could you please advise whether it's possible to migrate to Openserve and how I can go about doing this? I see that there are packages available in my area, Grassy Park for Openserve and that there is a migration option.

How exactly does this migration option work? I just need some clarity before taking the jump to proceed with the 100Mbps Openserve order.

Thanks.

Unfortunately with Vuma Reach you will need to cancel and sign up anew for Openserve. You can not migrate from the one to the other.

Thanks fro the headsup. I guess it will be another week of downtime for me then but will definitely plan in advance next time.

Morning.

Moving from Vuma Reach to Openserve, it will not be a migration but new installation.
You must request cancellation from the Vuma Reach line and sign up for Openserve.
Openserve's installation lead time is up to 7 days.
