Mikrotik LTE Setup

I've recently purchased a RB435G router and Huawei E3272 with the correct Device ID which is listed on the mikrotik supported hardware list. ROS 6.8, 6.15.

The usb port is not listed under ports list. So now I cannot setup the ppp client because there is no usb port to select. The device is listed under LTE Interface and / system resources ports print

I've now eve tried bridging all interfaces but the LTE interface is not listed as a selection under port bridging.

Please assist with the set up or a solution.

Not sure if applies to your situation, but I have an E3276 which wouldn't work with ROS, and would only appear as a network device in Linux and Windows.
I recently upgraded the firmware on the E3276 and now it appears as a modem and a network device in Linux and Windows (haven't tested with ROS yet).

What devices appear when you plug in the E3272 in Linux or Windows?

Maybe HiLink or non-Hlink is an issue? I think most e3272s come out as HiLink.

Have you tried upgrading the ROS and board firmware?

How do I upgrade the modems firmware. I read somewhere that these modems have different "modes" such as ndis + sd + network device.

Can you also tell me how to send commands to the modem please?

You'll need a Windows machine for this.
