My dl BW is 10mbps and ul is 2mbps. Now what i want is to divide the total bandwidth into chunks of 512kbps and 1mbps for my users. Like i want to dedicate 1mbps DL and 256kbps UL to 192.168.0.2 to 15 and 512kbps DL and 128kbps UL to 192.168.0.16 to 21 and from the first chunk i want 192.168.0.4 & 8 to get 128/32 each and like that. How can i do that? I'm new to Mikrotik. Pls help me in detail. Please...

Greetings. Thanks for ur kind reply.
I've gone thru those manuals and usnderstood a bit. It will be very much appritiated if any one would kindly give a line by line solution to my particular problem.

As i'm new to this routerOS, it's a bit dificult for me to bring out a solution to my problem from those manuals.

I'm using Mikrotik for bandwidth shaping and web proxy. Thanks again and wating for ur reply.

Isnt 2.9.27 a cracked version? You may want to upgrade to v3 there was a few improvement done to queues since v2.9.27

no, i'm not running wisp. I need to pay again to upgrade to v3. i will but before that i want make sure it works like what i want.

You should be able to upgrade through the versions. Try something in the 2.9.3* because they extended the licenses to upgrade to version 3 without paying.

Stop being a cheap skate, get the latest version and use that. chances are there more than likely are some bugs in 9.27 that has been fixed since.

If you have a valid license on 2.9.27, there is nothing stoping you to upgrade to 3.x except to download the software and upload it to your router.

I can't believe you have the ignorance to ask here for help on cracked and illegal sortware
