I am lucky I understand some German, they do have a few english songs though, they rock:D

Sure, she has a decent voice; not one-in-a-million, hell probably not even one-in-a-hundred (one-in-ten, maybe?), but her "music" is pretty much the same recycled garbage one has come to expect from the pop music industry - more of the same. Hell, the only reason you are hearing her songs instead of some other random girl is because she just happened to be in the right place at the right time.

There's no issue with you liking the music (to each their own, right?), but to honestly consider her "brilliant"? Even "talented" is a stretch for this one. I will concede that she does seem to have excellent charisma and stage-presence, but that pretty much comes naturally to anyone nurtured by Disney since they were 12 (as well as to daughters of celebrities). In closing, she is nothing new, nothing different and nothing remotely worth taking note of.

I've googled english translations of their music. Trust me on this, "Kleine Lust" is much cooler when you're concentrating on the music - the lyrics are a bit strange :eek:

Ok now I am not saying she is fantastic but their is something catchy about it:D
 
I am a rocker but I find her one song catchy. I also play drums and guitar so I dont consider myself a popster who is slave to what the radio spews out. I reckon she has the makings of a talented artist, whatever genre she decides to concentrate on. One thing I find as i get older is I have stopped trying to be this hardcore rocker and immediately dissing anything else. I can now enjoy a bit of pop or country or whatever. However boy bands, Robbie Williams and R&B still make me want to stick sharp objects into peoples heads......yet listening to SOAD will calm me down nicely :p
