Cisco approved that the company or employees can correctly utilise it's products. That would be the extent of it.

No. You will notice the article pointed out IBM's Gold certification, a level the industry that is generally accepted that they would be able to handle the job.

And further the article states that TCM only got appointed to a similar level by Cisco AFTER they were awarded the tender.

So because a manger or people pulled a tender stunt it's the suppliers fault? No my friend, Cisco and any other IT hardware supplier only certify that people/companies know how to use their product. Whether the company abides by tender process etc, thats not Cisco's fault. Look to the corrupt folks at the company that botched the job.

@Kosmik, dude we also responded to this tender and Cisco Partnership status was a key point in the adjudication of the bid. All I said in my original post is that Cisco played a role in this corruption, so why are they being left out?

They may not have hatched the plan, but they certainly played along.

No they didn't. They certified that the company can use the equipment properly. That is the extent of their involvement. Did the tender hinge on getting a cisco certified company? Did Cisco falsely certify the company?

What is it that you think Cisco does in the marketplace?

It's like saying panasonic are at fault for the propaganda broadcast by Gadafi. Their TV's are certified to handle broadcast television but you don't blame them for the content.

I wonder why Cisco was left out of this article? They are the ones who 'approved' TCM 'able' to do the job.

Were they at a quick course at Cisco to get a certificate of compliance after the fact? Stop looking for excuses and defending your corrupt "Gods", From Zuma right down to the Trash removers the ANC structure are sick and corrupt, right down to their deepest roots and cultures.
