We'd love to know if you fired your made because I (and many others) suggested that you pay her more. Don't be shy. If you've been such a twit then go ahead and admit it. Wow. After reading this thread, I think I pay my maid the most.

R220 per day. 9am to 4pm. She comes once a week so in a 5 week month, she gets R1100. She was working half days at R110. So, when I moved her onto full days I just doubled it to R220.
