Nope, but it might help if you mention a more specific location that "South Africa." - at least other forumites in your area might have an idea, it's also probably quite close by, so maybe ask your neighbours if it's theirs.

I guess it belongs to some WISP, I used to pick up 3 different mis-5xx. Started a threat before but no one knows....

If in cape town, its inevitably a wisp. looks familiar but i wont be able to check anymore since im on 5ghz and there's nothing except the ap im picking up on it ( in my los of course )

im in JHB by bruma and linksfield ridge.

Anyways, im using a trendnet usb high power adapter. picks upo loads of stuff.

Funny thing is on vista it doesnt connect to the wisp i use and shows very weak signal.....but on my xp machine it shows excellent signal and picks up lots stuff.
